Description:
Extreme Ultraviolet Imaging Telescope on SOHO revealed the asymmetry of all the (ca. 100) beautifully shown flux tubes in 1997 October 16. Every flux tube starts from an EUV bright point. Seven such points are clearly on the right limb. They should be in the altitude of 200 000 km (dotted blue arch) according to 4.15 if they would be 2 MK hot. „Yellow“ S VI ions were traced down to the photosphere in 1997 by SUMER. Note the many helmet streamers on the left limb. See discussion in the next pages, too.
